BROWNFACE AMP KITS

Mojotone Brownface Amp Kits – Warm Vintage Tone, Surf-Ready Reverb, Rock-Ready Grit

Before blackface came brownface—the warm, rich circuits that defined early '60s surf and rock tone. Mojotone's Brownface amp kits are built for players and builders who want that in-between-era warmth, with clean tones that break up into rich, musical overdrive.

Every kit includes period-correct transformers, a full tube complement, and Fender-style chassis, faceplates, and hardware, so you can build an amp true to its 1960s roots. Choose the Ivy League 6G2 or Deluxe® style for compact, tremolo-equipped warmth that goes from tweed clean to British-style overdrive with a twist of the volume knob, the Vibroverb® style for two-channel tone with lush reverb and tremolo, or the Blonde Bassman for rich clean headroom and classic blues breakup.

Find your perfect tone with Mojotone's Brownface amp kits—crafted for players who expect more from their gear.
