Excellent design but there are some considerations
"I have not yet installed or tested the new pots/wiring. The pre-wired system and the little junction box to install the wires is ingeniously simple. The even included a little screw driver! The toogle switches to customize the tone-wow, brilliant. My project, however, through no fault of Mojo Tone, is that not all strats are the same (mine isn't even a Fender). So happens the Mojo volume/tone knob assembly doesn't fit my existing pickguard. So I found one I liked and ordered it and yes! The knob assembly snaps in! But. . . the screw holes for the pickguard to the guitar body don't match to the existing holes. So I am waiting on another pickguard to arrive-hopefully all the holes will match up. If not, I need to fill the previous ones in the body and drill new holes. Tried drilling out one plastic pickguard I had ordered to expand one of the holes for the knob assembly to fit but discovered that pickguards shatter when you drill them, even carefully. Just letting you know why I can't tell you yet if it works. Not an impossible project but a lot of variables that Mojo Tones can't control-can take time."

Sounds great with Split Humbucker
"Pick up in the neck position had great tone, quiet, and no hum when your flush with the pick guard, but the output level is lower than a humbucker. The way to have an even better sound is to split the Hubacher with a . 047 micro farad capacitor to ground out the coil closest to the bridge with screws, and then you get a fender, Stratocaster sound with the same level as the Humbucker by itself unsplit and with good bottom end sound. If using the Mojotone quiet 58 pick up by itself in the neck position just need to turn the level up a bit, as it sounds great by itself too."
